Are we sure it was a crash? If it was could be from a cable that is not visible that got caught on the helicopter's rotor blades? I think it might be the radiation that caused it. Since this was after the explosion and the helicopter is litterley flying over the exposed reactor core, the radiation would of messed with the controll systems and also had some sort of effect on the matterial of the helicopter it was constructed of. Seeing as helicopters have to be made of light wieght stuff in order to fly. This is just my guess.

My Theory why it crashed is that it hit the kabels you see there and they were to strong and then yeah
